Things to do nearby:

One of the best parts of Cherry Grove is its seclusion and privacy. Even though Cherry Grove is tucked away on a peninsula shared with a handful of other homes there are still plenty of things to explore nearby.

Wineries

Broken Spoke Winery

This is a small winery 5 minutes down the road. They are very welcoming. Worth the visit.

Chateau Bu-De

Close to Broken Spoken Winery this is another great option. A midsized winery with water views.

Blue Elk Vineyard

This winer is across the river and would require a boat to get there otherwise it would be a long drive

Restaurants

Chesapeake Inn

The Chesapeake Inn is one of our favorites. Great outdoor vibe on the water.

Schaefer’s Canal House

Schaefer’s is right across the water from the Chesapeake Inn. Schaefer’s former owner was also the former owner of 1248 Cherry Grove Rd.

Fish Whistle

This located 15 min south on the water in Georgetown.

Historical and Others

Bohemian River State Park

This is a newly opened state park just down the road. There are trails to hike on and places to launch a kayak.
